Here's our Purpose...

“Equipping Students for Life and Eternity”

Victor Valley Christian School (VVCS) purposefully strives to meet the needs of all students, in the areas of spiritual, academic, physical, and social development.

Spiritual:

We reveal the reality of a risen Savior, and the truth of our reconciliation to God (II Corinthians 5:14-21). Bible is a regular course taken daily, and weekly Chapel services enhance our Biblical instruction program. In addition, a children’s pastor and a youth pastor are available for prayer and counsel, as needed. Students are encouraged to attend church, study God’s word, pray, and memorize Scripture on a regular basis.

Academic:

VVCS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), as well as with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The primary curriculum used in elementary school is Bob Jones University Press. The junior and senior high program is constructed with care to see that every necessary course is offered, and that the electives are beneficial to the students’ development. VVCS offers courses that fulfill the a-g requirements for entrance into University of California (UC) system.

Physical:

As members of C.I.F., we offer a full range of interscholastic sports including football, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and golf. In addition, physical and health education, as well as cheerleading are part of the overall instructional program for 6th through 12th grade students.

Social:

VVCS offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities and clubs. Students are encouraged to develop their gifts, talents, and interests in a Christ-like manner. Student Government, National Honor Society, Interact Club (a community service club sponsored by the Rotary Club) and more are enrichment opportunities which are designed to teach leadership and citizenship.
